Recorded also as Raym and Räum, this spirit has no documented etymology that can be asserted without speculation. He appears as a Great Earl with thirty legions; the earldom answers to Mars in the grimoire's planetary scheme and describes a middling but effective command. His list of services is that of a political agent: he steals treasure out of the houses of kings, ruins cities and dignities, sows love between people, and answers on things past, present and to come. He is summoned to dismantle another's power and to grow rich at its expense. Like others in the book, he arrives as a crow and turns human only at the exorcist's order.
