Recorded as Procel in earlier catalogues, this Duke commands forty-eight legions, among the highest figures in the book, and his grade aligns him with Venus in the planetary scheme. He is one of the few spirits who appears in the form of an angel, a detail the manuscript notes without comment; he speaks darkly of mysterious things and brings with him a great noise of running waters. He is asked to teach geometry and the liberal arts, and for one very concrete and unspectacular ability: to warm waters and discover baths, that is, to locate thermal springs. It is one of the catalogue's most useful and least clamorous entries.
