He serves among the Virtues, the choir that according to Pseudo-Dionysius performs miracles and sustains the course of nature, with Raphael as regent, from 29 October to 2 November. He is petitioned for protection on campaign and success in hazardous undertakings. Rudd sets him over Shax, who steals sight, hearing and understanding: the clarity of command against induced blindness.
