Sealiah, "mover of all things", arises from three letters of the Shem HaMephorash, the three 72-letter versions derived from Exodus 14:19-21, plus the suffix -IAH, which in the tradition points to mercy. He is counted among the Virtues, the Dionysian rank of miracle and of natural forces, governed by Raphael, from 3 to 7 November. He is invoked to return vigour to the sick and to bring down the proud. Vine, his goetic counterpart, topples walls and uncovers witchcraft: demolition against the restoration of life.
