A namesake of the prophet, this Daniel of the series of 72 reads "merciful judge" and is formed from three letters of the Shem HaMephorash closed in -EL, the suffix of power. He belongs to the Principalities, the rank that in Pseudo-Dionysius cares for peoples and communities, under Haniel, from 28 November to 2 December. He is petitioned for just sentences, for a judge's clemency and for effective speech. Furcas, of the same number, teaches chiromancy and rhetoric mounted on a pale horse: eloquence that judges against eloquence that divines.
