A poor-looking child with angel's wings, riding a two-headed dragon: the image of Volac is among the most discordant in the catalogue, and the spellings Valak and Ualac also occur. He is given the grade of President, tied to Mercury, with thirty-eight legions. The operator invoked him for two services: to answer concerning hidden treasure, and to point out where serpents are, which he further delivers tame. The spelling Valak achieved mass circulation through its use in The Conjuring film series, although the figure presented there bears no relation to the manuscript's description.
