Aim appears as Haborym in Weyer's Pseudomonarchia; the origin of the name is not established, and the text does not explain it. The grimoire calls him a Great Strong Duke, a grade of Venus, with twenty-six legions. His speciality is not amorous but incendiary: he sets cities, castles and great places ablaze with the firebrand he carries in his hand. To the operator he offers wit as well, and truthful answers on private matters, an odd pairing of large-scale destruction with intimate counsel. The three heads, serpent, man with two stars on his forehead, and calf, and the viper he rides mark him as a composite figure, typical of the greater Dukes.
