The suffix -IAH, bound in the tradition to mercy, over three letters taken from the seventy-two-letter versions of the Shem HaMephorash: the name is rendered "God good in himself." It belongs to the Thrones, who uphold the divine judgement according to Pseudo-Dionysius, with Tsaphkiel as archangel, from 17 to 22 July. It is invoked for exiles, for fugitives and for anyone who fears attack. Rudd sets it against Naberius, the marquis who restores lost honours: dignity returned by pact against shelter for one who has no country.
