Eyael is translated "delight of the children of men" and is built, like the whole series, from three letters of the 72-letter name and the ending -EL, on the side of power. He serves among the Angels, the rank Pseudo-Dionysius places in immediate contact with human beings, under Gabriel, from 20 to 24 February. He is invoked for consolation in adversity and for the study of the occult sciences. Amdusias, his counterpart, makes music sound with no visible instrument: din without cause against knowledge that seeks it.
