The suffix -IAH, tied in the tradition to mercy, crowns the three letters that yield Damabiah, "God fountain of wisdom", within the series deduced from Exodus 14:19-21. He opens the choir of the Angels, the last in Pseudo-Dionysius and the one that deals directly with persons, under Gabriel, from 10 to 14 February. He is invoked against malefice and for safe outcomes at sea. Andrealphus, his counterpart, teaches geometry and turns a man into a bird: metamorphosis against the safeguarding of the body.
