Like the others in the catalogue, this name arises from three letters of the Shem HaMephorash and ends in -EL, the mark of divine power; it is rendered "God worthy of adoration." It belongs to the Seraphim, the choir that in Pseudo-Dionysius burns nearest the throne, with Metatron as governing archangel, from 26 to 30 April. Its classic invocation is for the blessing of labour and of the harvest.
