Nada seguro puede decirse del origen de este nombre, que alterna entre Vepar, Vephar y Separ. Ostenta el grado de gran duque con veintinueve legiones, rango que el texto asocia a Venus y que comparte con Focalor, igual que comparte con él el dominio de las aguas. Su función práctica es la de un piloto: guía los barcos armados hasta donde el operador quiera y provoca tempestades para hundir los del rival. A eso el texto suma un poder más íntimo, la muerte por heridas que se gangrenan y se llenan de gusanos, lo que lo vuelve también instrumento de daño personal. Se manifiesta con apariencia de sirena.

He holds the grade of Great Duke with twenty-nine legions, a rank the text associates with Venus and shares with Focalor, just as he shares with him dominion over the waters. His practical function is that of a pilot: he guides armed ships wherever the operator wishes and raises tempests to sink a rival's. To this the text adds a more intimate power, death by wounds that turn gangrenous and fill with worms, which makes him an instrument of personal harm as well. He appears in the likeness of a mermaid.
